Project Description

Formed in 1986, the Alaska Botanical Garden became a reality when the first gardens opened to the public in 1993. Organized and funded by volunteers, the Garden created a Master Plan in 2000 outlining plans for growth over the next several years. I worked with the Garden leadership in several capacities before joining their board. This included creation of brochures and other support for their first fundraising program and media relations around the signing of their long-term lease with the city. After joining the Board, I helped improve their brand recognition for the signature fundraising gala during its best year in history. Working with Full Moon Productions, I also created a long form video to help tell the Garden’s story. It is used in full and parts for fundraising purposes.
